I don’t know that any one method will work for all who choose to take the comprehensive exam as their exit strategy from OU’s SLIS program, but the following method worked for me.
The links under “Countdown” reveal how I spent the final 90 days prior to taking the exam on June 27, 2008. “Day 90″ gives somewhat of an introduction.
Advice I heeded:

I really appreciated your contribution to the comps review last night. For some reason, I feel better knowing that I’m not the only one to have suffered comps anxiety symptoms like sleeplessness. I had a dream that I only finished two of the questions in the time allotted and thus failed. So, I really took note of your “90 minutes” per question suggestion. It’s also good to compare your blog subscriptions to mine- I might change things up a bit. Thanks!
Sheri
Sheri,
Glad I could ease your anxiety somewhat. Considering you maintain a well-written blog, you’ve little need to worry about your writing skills.
As for the dream: bear in mind that 2 out of 3 isn’t an automatic fail. Hypothetically, If your dream became a reality, you’d still be allowed to defend your answer (just make sure you write at least a paragraph or two, so you’ll have something to defend ;-)
