Yesterday one of my colleagues made a comment that I have been pondering but had yet to voice openly with others. She said that the collaborative effort that was to be NSUBA Library Blog doesn’t seem to be as collaborative as initially intended and that perhaps we should consider discontinuing this fledgling form of communication. (A situation I fear has happened to my favorite Arts Blog.)
It’s true: we are all extremely busy with numerous projects and it’s difficult to find time to post. Campus enrollment is up, yet the number of library staff who serve these students remains stable (actually, one less, as we now share our esteemed Director with the other campuses).
My colleague suggested we hold a meeting, or post on our private internal blog, to decide the future of NSUBA Library Blog.
To be continued. . . .

Happy news! A few hours after writing this post, I discovered that Tanya and Chris at the Yale Arts Library have returned to the blogosphere. I found this inspiring, indeed :-)
