The following is an e-mail message I received from a patron in need. After reading it, perhaps you will gain some insight into why I enjoy working with non-traditional students (as well as what it might be like to be one – if you aren’t already aware):
“I have SOOOO messed up! I really need the article I requested, but I forgot my username and password. I know I wrote it down- somewhere. Could you please help this aging undergrad? . . . I’m up to my eyeballs with frustration so any assistance would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you,########
(one who needs a memory upgrade)”
